E-Roots founder, Sam Gedert, has extensive experience in both information technology and campaign politics. Before founding E-Roots in 2001, Mr. Gedert was the I.T. Director for the Ohio Senate. In this capacity he managed all aspects of the technology infrastructure to the 33 senators and their staff, including day-to-day support, purchasing and long-term planning. While in the Senate, he also gained extensive experience working on campaigns with the Republican Senate Campaign Committee. In this role, Mr. Gedert gained valuable knowledge in utilizing technology to process bulk mailings, execute targeting, and manage volunteers and prospect for contributors.

Since leaving the Senate, Mr. Gedert has been an integral part in dozens of campaign at the local, state and national level. He is widely recognized as an innovator in providing clients with customized, affordable and practical solutions to the challenges of running a modern campaign in the information age.
